The Dáil has scheduled debate times for several key pieces of legislation, including the Planning and Development (Amendment) Bill 2026.

Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach, Deputy Mary Butler, outlined the weekly schedule in the Order of Business. Under the agreed schedule, the Second Stage of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Bill 2026 is scheduled for Thursday. The debate on this stage is ordered not to exceed three hours and 34 minutes, and will conclude after the first round.

Additionally, the Dáil has allocated specific times for other major infrastructure and property bills. The Dublin Airport (Passenger Capacity) Bill 2026 has been allocated two hours to conclude its Committee and remaining Stages, with the previous order referring it to the Select Committee on Transport discharged so that its Third Stage can be taken in a Committee of the whole Dáil.

The Development (Strategic Gas Reserve) Bill 2026 is also scheduled for its Committee and remaining Stages with a two-hour limit. Furthermore, a motion regarding the restoration of the Seller’s Legal Pack for Property Buyers Bill 2021 was placed on the agenda to be taken without debate.
