As previously granted planning permission under p04/136, p10/601 and p12/604; extension of the pit into an adjoining greenfield area consisting of 8.9 ha. Which will be subject to extraction and occasional processing of material: continuation of use of the existing processing infrastructure (crushing, screening and washing plant), concrete batching plants, garage, workshop, fuel storage shed, wheelwash, office/laboratory and all other ancillary facilities; landscaping and restoration of the site including construction of berms and all associated ancillary facilities/works; the applicant is seeking a 25 year permission as part of the planning application.
