Alterations and additions to an existing three storey building permitted by reg ref 03/524101 and an bord pleanala pl74.204846 and will comprise of the removal of cosmetic timber panels from all elevations, removal of second floor balcony handrails, removal of existing entrance canopy and lobby. To increase the building area by approx. 17.6 sq. M. At ground floor and 15.5 sq. M. At first floor, add a two storey curtain wall feature entrance and metal canopy to the east elevation, continue existing two storey projections on the east and south elevations with elevational treatment, including replacing all windows to alter the appearance of the building, add signage to the south and east elevations and add a new external terrace with doors leading inside. It is proposed to add the following; a) a two storey c. 172.4 sq. M plantroom extension to the north elevation with generator and boiler flues rising 1m above the parapet on the new plantroom extension, b) a new surface car park with alterations to the existing carpark to give 6 no. Disabled access and 301 standard parking bays. C) a single storey 9.24sq. M. Security lodge at the barrier controlled site entrance, d) 2 no. Building services equipment compounds with 3m high enclosing panel fences and gates (1 no. Of 178 sq. M. & 1 no. Of 48 sq. M. ), e) a compact electricity sub-station, f) bin storage area and all necessary and associated site works including provision of site lighting
