The development will consist of: (a) demolition of the external store and escape stairs, located to the east of the existing protected structure (b) the refurbishment and renovation of the existing primary school which is a protected structure (rps 146) and is to include 8 classrooms, shared spaces, library, ancillary accommodation, staff parking, including repairs to the existing building and the provision of a new escape staircase to the west of the existing protected structure (c) construction of an 8 classroom extension including a general purpose room, link, and ancillary accommodation, ball courts (overflow car park), bin storage, bike storage, new entrance gates, new pedestrian entrances all to the rear of the existing protected structure and within the curtilage of the existing protected structure site (d) provision of an off carriageway bus set down minimum 3 metres in width, relocation of existing footpath, and the reinstatement of section of existing western boundary wall to facilitate bus set down
