Construction of a new extension to the southeast of the existing school building, to the rear of the existing sports hall which will be part single and part two storey and will be attached to the existing school building - the additional accommodation will include a 2 class base special education needs unit, graphics room, 2 no. Science laboratories, home economics room, 3 no. General classrooms, staff office, sanitary accommodation, ancillary rooms, plant and stores. Minor works are proposed to the existing building to facilitate the new extension to include façade and layout changes in the vicinity of the connection to the new extension. The works will include the provision of landscaped courtyard and play spaces adjoining the new extension, amendments to the existing road and landscape layouts to support the new extension, 6 no. Additional carparking spaces and all ancillary works. A natura impact statement will be submitted to the planning authority with this application.
