CIF Warns Apprenticeships Are Essential for Future Housing Delivery

The Construction Industry Federation (CIF) has warned that securing commitments to apprenticeships today is essential for delivering Ireland's future housing needs.

The industry representative body emphasised that the successful delivery of future residential development projects relies on an immediate focus on skills and training. According to the federation, apprenticeships are a critical factor in ensuring the construction sector has the capacity to build necessary homes.

While the group highlighted the vital link between skills training and long-term housing delivery, further details on specific apprenticeship programmes or proposed policy reforms were not detailed in the statement.
