Hitachi Energy has announced a €4 million investment to set up a new Service Centre in Dublin North Park to support critical grid infrastructure.

Hitachi Energy has announced a €4 million investment to establish a new Service Centre in Dublin North Park. The facility, scheduled to open in Autumn 2026, aims to improve grid resilience across Ireland by expanding capabilities to modernise critical infrastructure.

The upcoming centre will focus on servicing and modernising equipment such as transformers, switchgear, breakers, and digital services. Additionally, the Dublin North Park facility will house dedicated customer training and a customer operations hub designed to support utilities, industries, and data centres.

This local development is part of Hitachi Energy's broader $1 billion USD global strategy focused on expanding service capacity, training over 5,000 additional service experts worldwide, and supporting the clean energy transition. The company expects the Dublin investment to create new jobs and enhance operational efficiency in Ireland while maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
