Kildare County Council signs contract for 28 Naas social homes

Kildare County Council has signed a contract with Cunningham Contracts Ireland Ltd for the design and construction of 28 social housing units in Naas.
Kildare County Council has signed a works contract for the construction of 28 social housing units at Craddockstown Road in Naas.
The local authority completed the agreement with Cunningham Contracts Ireland Ltd, which will oversee both the design and construction of the Craddockstown Housing Project. Financing for the scheme is being provided by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage under the Social Housing Investment Programme.
In terms of design, the development was prepared by the local authority's own Architects Department. The council received external specialist support during the design phase from Hayes Higgins Partnership, Delap & Waller, RMDA, and TA Group.
Work on the Naas site is projected to continue over the coming months, with construction scheduled to reach completion in 2027.
