Thursday 22 October 2026

John Paul Construction has appointed Kilsaran to manufacture and install approximately 97,000 square metres of precast concrete for the Parkgate Street development in Dublin.

John Paul Construction has appointed Kilsaran to deliver approximately 97,000 square metres of precast concrete systems for Dublin's Parkgate Street residential development.

The project is being delivered by the Land Development Agency (LDA) in partnership with developer Castlethorn, with John Paul Construction acting as the main contractor. Situated beside the River Liffey opposite Heuston Station, the scheme comprises 562 apartments arranged across four interconnected blocks.

The development includes a 30-storey tower named Parkgate Pointe, which will reach 102 metres in height, making it Ireland’s tallest building upon completion.

Under the precast contract, Kilsaran will supply and install around 42,000 square metres of precast flooring—including hollowcore and Omnia plate flooring systems—alongside approximately 55,000 square metres of twin-wall and solid-wall concrete elements. The components are scheduled for production across Kilsaran’s manufacturing facilities at Arthurstown and Brownstown in County Kildare and Oranmore in County Galway.
