Lotus Property has submitted a proposal of application notice for a 170-unit social housing-led apartment development on Library Street in Belfast.
Lotus Property has submitted a proposal of application notice to Belfast City Council for a 170-unit social housing development on Library Street.
The Co Down developer has formally started the planning process for the apartment scheme, which is situated on a one-acre city centre site. The land was previously earmarked for a development of 795 student accommodation units.
The proposed social housing-led plans include 126 two-bedroom apartments, 32 one-bedroom units, and 12 three-bedroom flats. Residents would have access to private balconies alongside shared amenity space.
The submission of the proposal of application notice initiates a formal consultation phase. Lotus Property intends to submit a full planning application for the project later in the year.
