For development of a sewerage scheme at skagh point, kilrush, co clare. The development will consist of: (1) the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant adjacent to the existing wastewater tidal outfall tank at skagh point, kilrush comprising of inlet screening works, odour unit, primary splitter chamber, 2 no. Primary settlement tanks, sludge, storm return and effluent pumping stations with associated gantry cranes, stormwater storage tank, sludge picket fence thickener, administration / control building, retaining wall, task lighting, boundary fencing, landscaping and scheme signage. Access to the wastewater treatment plant to be provided via a proposed new entrance onto the public road network. All associated site development and site excavation works above and below ground for the wastewater treatment plant; and (3) upgrades to the existing frances street pumping station at cappagh road, kilrush, and the construction of an underground storm storage tank, vent stack, new entrance onto cappagh road, boundary fencing and landscaping.
