Development description

Permission for a residential scheme on a site at 152 sunday's well avenue, cork city. The proposed scheme will consist of the demolition of a single derelict structure on site and the construction of 11 no. Residential units over two blocks, one block containing two no. Three storey (3 and 4 bed) semi-detached houses and a three storey apartment block containing 9 no. (1, 2 and 3 bed) apartments. Access to the apartment block is proposed from sunday's well road and access to the two semi-detached houses is proposed from 152 sunday's well avenue. The application constitutes a change of planning (increased density on same footprint) to previously granted scheme tp 11/34902 due to expire on the 8th of november 2022. This granted permission was also altered by granted permissions tp 13/35570 and tp 13/35830 which changed elements of the original application 11/34902 relating to underground car parking. The proposal draws together all of the previous grants of permission into a single coherent scheme as well as proposes an increase of density than what was previously permitted (previously 4 units) to 11 units. The development also includes, associated car parking (basement and surface), landscaping, boundary treatments, drainage and all ancillary site development works.
