Expp: at present there are no public charging stations located along this road, or in the nearby vicinity in order for our clients to be able to charge their electric vehicle it has been necessary to install an electric charging arm in their front garden. The purpose of this application is to request a declaration of exempt development under section 5 of the planning and development act 2000 as amended. In absence of the currently installed electric car charging arm, our clients would have no access to an electric car charging point to charge their vehicles. The electric charging arm which has been installed on their property allows them to charge their vehicles, while maintaining access for pedestrians to pass by unobstructed.
