Permission & retention: retention for a portion of an existing self-contained residential unit to be reconfigured as residential extension at the rear of the original house and for retention of a side gate on esmond ave to access existing courtyard. In complement to the above we apply for development works comprising of demolition of part of the existing self-contained residential unit to create a new garden, a new gate on esmond ave for access to the new garden, achieving required floor to ceiling height for habitable rooms for the retained residential portion by subsurface excavation, closure of 10 unauthorised windows and a door on esmond ave, construction of a storage building at the end of the new garden, connection between the existing house and the proposed extension and all associated site works to facilitate the development.
