The proposed development will consist of the conversion/refurbishment and change of use of the existing premises to a funeral home. Alterations to existing building include the re-roofing of the existing pitched roof and flat roofed rear extension, including the omission of existing sky lights to existing single storey rear extension and revised ground floor entrances and fenestration to the building. Revised site layout to include the omission of 5 no. On-site car parking spaces and formation of a new paved courtyard area (suitable to accommodate 2 parked hearses or cars) that is accessed via a proposed vehicular sliding gate and pedestrian gate to facilitate servicing of the proposed funeral home from the rear (off st brigid's road); provision of new perimeter boundary walls/railings enclosing the external courtyard together with all ancillary site development, landscaping and service works to include the provision of a new bin store enclosure.
