Development description

The proposed development will consist of amendments to the permitted development on the site (dlr reg. Ref. D21a/1041 / abp-314309-22) as follows: removal of the permitted commercial unit and associated changing, shower and toilet facilities at ground floor level of block 1, to be replaced by 2 no. 1 bed apartment units with associated terraces. The proposed amendment requires minor changes to the permitted elevations to facilitate the provision of the 2 no. 1 bed apartment units and associated terraces. These changes include the removal of the permitted access point to the commercial unit and the reduction of the extent of permitted glazing associated with the commercial unit along the eastern elevation at ground floor level. The southern elevation will be reconfigured to remove the permitted access points associated with the commercial unit, and to provide minor amendments to this elevation at ground floor level to provide terraces associated with the proposed 2 no. Apartment units. The western elevation will be reconfigured to provide minor elevational amendments to windows and the façade associated with the proposed 2 no. 1 bed apartment units at ground floor level. The site is currently subject to a concurrent amendment application (d26a/0299/web) lodged to dun laoghaire rathdown county council on the 20th of april 2026.
