  • The windows need to be refurbished in order for them to operate effectively and to reduce draughts. The proposed work to be carried out outlined below
  • Drawing room windows x 2 - fit draught proof brushes around sashes. The sashes and frames need to be removed stripped and repainted with new cords fitted for ease of operation. Rotten parts on window frames to be removed and replaced with long life wood. The ropes need to be replaced and the weights checked in order for the window to operate easily. Fit new ironmongery
  • The glazing does not need to be replaced
  • Rear bedroom windows-both bedroom windows need to be draught proofed, window frames stripped and painted and gaskets replaced
