Development description

The proposed development will consist of the demolition of three existing chimneys, the demolition of the existing rear extension, and the demolition of the existing front boundary wall. The works will include the construction of a new zinc-clad bay window, a single-storey side extension which wraps into a single-storey rear extension all to accommodate a reconfigured ground-floor layout. The front and side facade will include a wrapped canopy in zinc cladding and the front façade will be modernised with timber cladding at ground-floor level and with a sand cement render finish at first-floor level. The window scheme throughout will be upgraded, including the removal of the existing clerestory window and replacement of one first-floor window with a round-headed window, also, the addition of a new gable window to the first-floor north elevation, and two new gable windows to the south elevation. A new front concrete boundary wall with a sand/cement render is proposed, incorporating a new vehicular entrance and pedestrian gate. Plus all associated site works.
