The development will consist of: alterations to a previously approved development under reg. Ref. F23a/0652 (parent permission f18a/0438). The development as approved on the subject site under reg. Ref. F23a/0652 includes a part-six, part-seven storey mixed use building including a total of 170 no, student accommodation bedspaces, internal communal amenity space and facilities, a ground floor level creche unit, together with external amenity spaces, bicycle parking and car parking. The alterations proposed under the current application are as follows: (i) internal modifications at sixth floor level to accommodate the provision of an additional 11 no. Student accommodation bedspaces (3 no. Studios and 1 no. Eight-bed unit) resulting in an uplift in the total number of student bedspaces from 170 no. (approved under reg. Ref. F23a/0652) to 181 no. (contained within 34 no. Units comprising 13 no. Studios and 21 no. Eight-bed units). The reconfigured sixth floor level will also include a study room, a multi-purpose amenity room a communal w.
