Upmc sports surgery clinic limited intends to apply for permission for alterations to the existing sports surgery clinic building and amendments to the permitted extension building previously permitted under reg. Ref. F22a/0591, together with associated development, all at the upmc sports surgery clinic, northwood avenue, northwood, dublin 9, d09 c523. Proposed alterations to the existing sports surgery clinic building will include: (a) extension of the existing café at ground and first floor levels together with an associated stair core (combined c. 236 sq. M), and associated alterations to part (c. 96 sq. M) of the existing sports surgery clinic building at first-floor level comprising revised internal layout and associated day ward accommodation. (b) additional first-floor accommodation comprising a day ward (c. 185 sq. M), consultant lounge (c. 68 sq. M), and new and extended storage accommodation (combined c. 70 sq. M). Proposed amendments to the permitted extension building under reg. Ref. F22a/0591, together with associated development, will include: (c) revisions to the permitted basement comprising amendments to the car parking layout, internal circulation arrangements and associated ancillary accommodation. (d) basement extension (c. 527 sq. M) providing additional plant accommodation, ancillary circulation accommodation and an associated stair core. (e) internal layout and circulation reconfiguration together with associated revisions to the permitted clinical, consultation, café and ancillary accommodation at ground floor. (f) internal layout and circulation reconfiguration together with associated revisions to the permitted day care, recovery and ancillary accommodation at first floor. (g) internal layout and circulation reconfiguration together with associated revisions to the permitted inpatient and ancillary accommodation at second and third floors. (h) reconfiguration of the permitted screened plant area together with additional plant accommodation (c. 327 sq. M) at roof level. (i) additional stair core accommodation extending from ground floor to roof level (c. 12 sq. M per floor). Proposed associated amendments to the previously permitted external layout under reg. Ref. F22a/0591, together with associated development, will include: (j) maintenance of the existing principal entrance and passenger set-down area in lieu of the previously permitted relocated entrance and passenger set-down arrangements. (k) revised internal road layout and vehicular circulation arrangements. (l) provision of one enclosed external escape stair (c. 24 sq. M) and associated generator enclosure together with one external escape stair, both providing emergency access between the basement and ground floor. (m) revisions to the surface car parking layout resulting in a net reduction of 3 no. Parking spaces. (n) associated hard and soft landscaping together with all associated site development and engineering works above and below ground. The proposed alterations, amendments and associated development will result in a net increase of c. 1,515 sq. M.
