Permission for development at this site address: lands at hansfield, dublin 15, being part of zone 1 'main street north' of the hansfield strategic development zone planning scheme 2006. The site is located on lands to the east side of station road, hansfield, immediately south and west of block a of the existing neighbourhood centre. The proposed development is on lands within the boundaries of hansfield strategic development zone as defined by statutory instrument no. 273 of 2001. Permission is sought for development comprising amendments to a previously permitted development fw18a/0162 and subsequent amendments application reg. Ref. Fw21a/0139. A neighbourhood centre, with inter alia, retail, community and new public realm spaces is proposed on an overall site area of 7,695 sqm. The proposal will consist of 1 no. Double storey (c. 8,150 m overall height) retail development in the form of a convenience supermarket (gfa approx. 2,593 sqm) with ancillary off licence (approx. 70 sqm), 1 no. Retail unit - class 1 (approx. 157 sqm ); café (approx. 45 sqm), esb and switch room (approx. 28 sqm), and deposit return scheme (drs) (approx. 45 sqm) at ground floor. The first floor comprises of a community centre (307 sqm) with associated ground floor access (68 sqm), and a staff welfare facilities area (approx. 274 sqm) including ancillary office accommodation all associated with the retail store. The anchor supermarket will provide for a net retail sales area of approx. 1,287 sqm, a warehouse (approx. 350 sqm), a delivery and loading dock, service yard, customer lobby and wc and entrance lobby. The development shall also provide for 92 no. Car parking spaces which includes 6 no. Accessible spaces, 6 no. Parent and child spaces, 9 no. Ev charging spaces and 2 no. Click and collect spaces are also provided. In addition, 32 no. Bicycle parking spaces, advertising signage (totalling c. 50.15 sqm) to include 7 no. Building mounted signs and 1 no. Double sided totem pole; new pedestrian and cyclist connections; public realm areas; refuse storage; a trolley shelter; vehicular entrances to the surface car park and service yard; and all associated site development, site services and landscape works are proposed.
