  • We, mkn properties limited, intend to apply for a 10 year planning permission for development of a large-scale residential development (lrd) at this site in the townlands of fosterstown north, cremona, forrestfields, miltonsfields, swords, county dublin; bounded generally by the forest road to the west, the dublin road (r132/r836 to the east and north east); and, the wider fosterstown masterplan lands to the north and south, on a site with an overall area of c. 6.31 hectares. The development will consist of the construction of 741 no. Dwellings (18 no. Houses, 723 no. Apartments), the fosterstown link road, forest road upgrades, open space, 2 no. Retail units and creche resulting in a gross floor area of c. 74,455 sqm, set out as follows
  • The proposed development will provide for 9 no. Apartment blocks (a-j) ranging in height from three to eight storeys. The total breakdown of these units will comprise of 347 no. 1 bed apartments; 315 no. 2 bed apartments; 61 no. 3 bed apartments, in the following blocks: block a: 18 no. Units (3-4 no. Storeys); block b: 33 no. Units (3-4 no. Storeys); block c: 147 no. Units (4-5 no. Storeys); block d: 70 no. Units (6 no. Storeys); block e: 151 no. Units (4-7 no. Storeys over undercroft); block f: 68 no. Units (5-6 no. Storeys over undercroft); block g: 69 no. Units (5-6 no. Storeys over undercroft); block h: 68 no. Units (5-6 no.   • The proposed development include esb substations, all landscaping, play spaces, infrastructure, provision of surface water attenuation measures, connection to water supply, provision of foul drainage infrastructure and all ancillary site development, construction, and landscaping works including reprofiling of the site where required and all works required to facilitate the development. An environmental impact assessment report has been prepared in respect of the proposed development and submitted with this lrd application.
