  • The proposed development is a project of the type described in paragraph 3 - environmental infrastructure in the seventh schedule of the planning and development act ( as amended) being an installation for the disposal, treatment, or recovery of waste with a capacity greater than 10,000 tonnes. The development will consist of an amendment of condition 5 of reg. Ref. Fw18a/0079 to increase to the annual waste acceptance from 270,000 tonnes to 450,000 tonnes fer year so as to expand the recycling/recovery capacity, and the installation of odour control unit, to the rear (east) of material recovery building
  • The unit will include an external flu some 18m in height above ground. The increased in take does not require new buildings, or extensions to existing buildings. The application relates to development that comprises or is for the the purposes of an activitty requiring an industrial emissions licence. The facility operates under an ie licence (no. W0183-01), issued by the environmenta agency (epa). This application for permission is accompanied by an environmental impact assessment report (eiar).
