The development will consist of (1) change of use of existing three storey building from school to office use (2) refurbishment and conservation works to consolidate the historic fabric of the existing building to include (i) removal and replacement of pitched roof structure and slate coverings to match existing (ii) reinstatement of 2 no. Former chimney features and barges at the gable ends at roof level (iii) restoration of windows along front elevation (iv) removal and replacement of windows and doors to the side and rear elevations (v) alterations to opes along rear elevation (vi) erection of replica of former statue at roof level to existing building (vii) removal of metal staircase to rear (vii) internal alterations (3) removal of single storey shed to rear (4) removal and replacement of boundary treatment along the sides and rear of the site and (5) construction of three storey flat roof extension to rear to accommodate office use, together with all associated siteworks and services
