Intend to apply to an comisiún pleanála for permission for a strategic housing development at this site at coolough road, terryland and which includes works at coolough road and dyke road galway. The development will consist of student housing development comprising 2 no. Blocks ranging in height from 1 to 4 storeys, providing a total of 255 no. Single bedrooms (of which 5 will be accessible bedrooms) divided into 38 no. Clusters. Ancillary student facilities to include student communal laundry (c. 110.39 sq m), student gym/fitness centre (c. 133.98 sq m), reception/security area (c. 109.11 sq m), student common/seminar area (c. 183.73 sq m). Provision of 8 car parking spaces, 280 no. Bicycle parking spaces, 3 no. Motorcycle parking spaces, and coach drop off (with bus shelter) . Bin stores, plant areas, switch room, esb sub-station, gas skid. Access to be provided from coolough road. Provision of pedestrian crossing infrastructure at dyke road and coolough road. All associated site development works, including landscaped areas, boundary treatements, drainage works, lighting; site services and infrastucture. A natura impact statement has been prepared. "it is noted that the parent permission was subsequently amended by gcc reg. Ref. 23/60174.
