The development consists of amendments to a solar energy development permitted under galway county council planning register reference 20/1387 as follows: i) omission of c. 1.92ha of solar panels; ii) insertion of c. 1.30ha of solar panels, within the footprint of the permitted solar energy development; iii) revised configuration of solar panels and alteration to spacing between the solar array rows to allow for 2.5m spacing; iv) alteration to the design and location of the electrical inverter/transformer units and reduction in the number of electrical inverter/transformer units from 20 no.
