For quarry development, the proposed development will consist of: (1) an overall extension of 7.94 ha to the existing quarry site, including an extension of 4.50 hectares to the extraction area, and 3.44 ha for the stockpiling of soil and overburden materials, (2) all related ancillary development and associated site works including: drilling, blasting, crushing, processing and stockpiling of materials, development of earth berms, landscaping and (3) future site restoration works. (4) decommissioning of existing septic tank and installation of a proprietary wastewater treatment unit and soil polishing filter (5) construction of a storm water management system. The new extraction area will be developed to a quarry floor level of approximately 38m od and will occur above the water table.
