Uisce éireann intend to apply for a ten year permission for development in the townland of baile an fheirtéaraigh, ballyferriter, county kerry. The development will consist of the following
1no. Twin-celled precast concrete treated water storage tank and associated retaining wall; -decommissioning of the existing water reservoir. The top slab shall be removed and infilled with stone chip
1no. Above-ground pump kiosk
1no. Fully buried valve chamber
1no overflow outlet and associated de-chlorination chamber and below-ground chamber ; - installation of by-pass chamber and hydrant for emergency emptying/refilling of the storage tank
2no. Ground mounted solar photovoltaic panels (one array measuring 24m2 and the other measuring 33m2, all solar panels will be 2.0m above ground level); and -all associated development required to facilitate the proposed development, including associated underground cabling and pipework; extension to existing hard surfaced internal circulation area, internal site road, lighting and drainage, and landscaping
