A mixed-use, equestrian and residential development comprising of a 2-storey detached house containing three bedrooms a drawing room, library/dining room, home office, boot room and a combined kitchen/dining/television area, along with ancillary utility, hallway, bathroom and dressing room accommodation, as well as an external patio area. The application also includes a new horse-breeding business to be conducted from this property, the erection of stable accommodation for up to twenty horses, including a dual-use stable/veterinary inspection chamber, along with cubicles for the storage of feed, tack and general equine items, a horse walker, a hay barn, a detached machinery store, an underground effluent holding tank and a covered dungstead for the storage of equine waste. The application is being lodged by diane o'rourke and the entire proposal will take place on and at osberstown, naas, co. Kildare. The development will be served by a connection to the public mains water supply, by a well to be sunk on the land (for equine use only), by a packaged wastewater treatment system and polishing filter, by a recessed vehicular access (to replace the existing farm entrance) comprising of new timber gates flanked by new timber panels, the creation of a part compacted gravel /part cobblelock driveway serving both residential and equine elements of this development, along with site landscaping and all ancillary works including the creation of open paddocks for the grazing of horses.
