Development description

Land reclamation works, the provision of a temporary haul road and all associated and ancillary site development works over an area of approximately 1.9 ha. Land reclamation works will consist of the importation and distribution of inert soil (approximately 16,000 m3 / 24,000 tonnes) over an area of 1.7 ha for the purpose of improvement of land for agricultural use. The maximum increase in ground level on the proposed reclamation area is approximately 1.2 m. The proposed temporary haul road will facilitate the importation of inert soil to the site from the residential development permitted under an bord pleanála reg. Ref. 303023-18 currently under construction to the north-east of the reclamation area. The haul road will cross rathasker road utilising existing access points to the lands on the eastern and western sides of the road
