Amendments to previously approved (plan red 18/1263) development of an extension to the existing manufacturing building, with associated plant, equipment and ancillary works. The amendments will comprise: (a) an increase in area from 5,005 sqm to 6,599 sqm of the approved extension to the main building comprising the construction of an extended production hall with mezzanine plant space overhead, and amendment to the approved predominantly 2 story (part 3 story) production support areas and utility block. (b) increase in roof height of the extended production hall. The apex will increase form approved 22.30m od to 23.85m od. The western parapet will remain at the previously approved height (22.75m od) to match the western parapet of the existing building. The southeastern and eastern parapets will step up from the approved 22.30m od to 24.38m od. Guardrails are proposed to provide edge safety protection to the roof areas where necessary. (c) increase from one to two loading bays on the southeast elevation of the extension. (d) addition of a single storey electrical room (15 sqm), and a two-storey electrical/control room (140 sqm) to the rear of the building. (e) amendments to the approved layout of the new plant and equipment to the rear of the building, including the installation of additional tanks varying from circa 5.5m to circa 12.0m high, bunds, pipe racks, a new solvent recovery system with 2 no. Columns circa 16m high, an additional15.0m high stack in a reconfigured abatement system. (f) 2 no. New cooling towers circa. 11.42m high in the existing utilities yard. (g) omission of the previously approved additional solvent tanker loading bay in the utilities yard. (h) relocation of the existing hydrogen peroxide unloading areas. (i) a new pipe rack across the existing services yard. (j) amendment to size and location of the previously approved additional water retention pond along the southern boundary and associated site works.
