Construction of a new coast guard station to facilitate the irish coast guard rescue services. The proposed building will consist of a gently sloping grass bank, a single storey boathouse and vehicle store, a single storey link and a 3 storey accommodation block. The proposed building will have a combined floor area of 890.4sqm and a maximum overall roof height of 14m above adjacent public road level. Proposals include high level windows and 3 no. Roof lights. Proposed external finishes comprise rubble stone, fair-faced concrete, smooth render, zinc roofing and metal framed windows, a new access road to the west of the site and a new vehicular access point to the north east corner of the site, three number flag poles, one number radio aerial mast and entrance signage, provision of 13 no.
