Development description

Development will consist of the importation of 230,000 m3 (345,000 tonnes) of article 27 (as defined by european communities (waste directive) regulations 2011) uncontaminated soil and stone as a non-waste by product over a five year period to improve 12 hectares of agricultural lands where: the further use of the stone is certain and will be used to recontour and improve the agricultural lands; the soil and stone can be used directly without further processing. The soil and stone will be an integral part of a production process i. E. Soil will be excavated, moved to facilitate site development in accordance with article 27 by a material producer or with the expressed written consent of a material producer and will be notifiable to the epa as a by - product prior to its use on lands. The proposed further use of the soil and stone fulfils all relevant product, environmental and health protection requirements for the specific use and will not lead to overall adverse environmental or human health impacts.
