Permission consisting of the erection of 3 detached buildings, providing an aggregate floorspace of 1,168.7 sq. Metres in two single-storey terraces of ten modular residential units and one single-storey terrace of nine modular residential units, resulting in a total of twenty-nine units of 40.3q. Metres each, within this overall development. Each of these units, all of which are to be used to accommodate asylum seekers, would contain two bedrooms and a kitchen / family room, as well as bathroom and hallway accommodation. The development would utilise and existing vehicular access t the site, an existing water supply and an existing wastewater pipeline (which was permitted by the council under permission reg. 20281), although the application also includes the installation of three new pump houses. The proposed development includes the removal of existing loose stones from the site, the levelling of the land, the erection of a reinforced concrete retaining wall, the provision of communal open spaces, as well as a separate area for recreational purposes and all ancillary site works.
