- Permission to apply for a 10-year planning permission for development at the site, which covers an area of approx. 0.36 hectares and includes: the existing 98 avenue wastewater pumping station site within barry mcguigan park; lands located approx. 110 metres north of the existing 98 avenue wastewater pumping station site; part of 98 avenue (r183 regional road); and part of an adjacent unnamed road the development will consist of
- Alterations to the existing 98 avenue wastewater pumping station site within barry mcguigan park, comprising: a) demolition and removal of existing valve chamber, control kiosks, and fencing. B) repurposing of the existing wastewater pumping station wet well chamber into an overflow chamber with associated interconnecting pipework and manholes. C) reinstatement works for soft landscaping, including return of the existing wastewater pumping station and control kiosks footprints to parkland, and all associated above and below ground ancillary works including site works and temporary working areas
- Construction of a new wastewater pumping station site within lands located approx. 110 metres north of the existing 98 avenue wastewater pumping station site, comprising: a)partial demolition of the existing brick site boundary wall. B)below ground construction of wet well, valve chamber, air valve chamber, flowmeter chamber, and emergency storage tank with 6 hours storage capacity, and interconnecting pipework and manholes. C) above ground construction of a vent stack, control kiosk, welfare kiosk, esb meter cabinet, and gantry crane. D)construction of a new site access, to incorporate a security palisade gate and full site perimeter fencing and protection bollards for setback from road verge. E)construction of the internal site access and turning area. F) proposed hard and soft landscaping works to include screen planting. G)all associated ancillary works including site works and temporary working areas
- Below ground construction of approx. 176m of wastewater gravity and approx. 157m of wastewater rising main and all associated above and below ground ancillary works, including carriageway reinstatement, within part of 98 avenue (r183 regional road) and within part of an unnamed adjacent road to connect the proposed new 98 avenue wastewater pumping station to the existing clones wastewater network
