Construction of modern, purpose built two storey & part three storey (staircase to roof area for maintenance) primary care unit & all associated siteworks incorporating on the ground floor (a) common entrance lobby (b) hse day centre incorporating reception, staff administration offices, clinical room, occupational therapy room, hairdresser's room, therapy room, group room, activities day centre, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and ancillary accomodation (c) plant room, (d) own door pharmacy unit, (e) 3 no. Doctor surgeries. The first floor accomodation will comprise a hse day hospital with (f) treatment rooms (g) consulting rooms & associated administration offices & ancillary accomodation for a range of health services/departments such as public health nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, speech & language therapy, occupational therapy. Dentistry, and general medical treatment services etc. 2; the provision of approx. 94 car parking spaces within the primary care unit size, together with the construction of a single storey bin store, esb substation & client switchroom & ancillary services & siteworks along with the provision of a pedestrian access route from the rear of the primary care unit to the adjacent county arms hotel,3; upgrade works to the existing birr rugby football club training pitch adjoining the proposed primary care unit to consist of raising & levelling the training ground, the provision of flood lighting for night time training & the provision of new fencing to enclose the training ground, 4; the provision of new flood lighting to the 2 no.
