The development at this site located in the townland clonarrow or riverlyons, co. Offaly. The development will consist of: a) the erection of a temporary 100m high lattice type meteorological mast which will be secured to ground anchors by stay wires and will include instruments for measuring local climate conditions, services, and associated equipment; b) a fixed red aviation light will be fitted near the top of the lattice section of the proposed meteorological mast; c) bird flight deterrent markers fitted to each stay wire at approximately 10m intervals; and d) all associated ancillary works.
