This application can be understood as two building forms: the original 2 storey pitched roof house form that faces the main street (block a) and the linear accommodation block that runs north-south (block b). Existing block a, will have a cafe at ground floor with street furniture, and a two bedroom apartment to the first floor. Demolition, alteration and extension to block b to form a three story flat roof building containing 10no. Two bedroom units and 1no. One bedroom unit for tourism rental purposes. A linking stairwell and refuse collection yard to be between block a and b, a second stair at the the south of block b. Car parking to the south end of the site. Block a to have existing blue/black tile/slate roof finish with plaster wall finish.
