An extension to the existing access road and all associated infrastructure, including watermain, foul drainage network, pumping stations, stormwater drainage network and detention basin, electrical ducting, street lighting, footpaths, cycle tracks, landscaping and traffic signage. Phase 1 of these works was approved under planning application 18/360 in 2018, for which site works are now completed. The proposed scheme is a continuation of same and the development area is 4.59 ha. The development has been subject of a screening for appropriate assessment in accordance with article 6(3) of the eu habitats directive (directive 92/43/eec) and the planning and development act 2000 as amended. The screening for appropriate assessment will be submitted with the planning application. The screening for appropriate assessment resulted in the requirement for a natura impact statement (nis) to be prepared in relation to the proposed development. The nis will be submitted with the planning application.
