- Pursuant to the requirements of the above, south dublin county council hereby give notice toconstruct the following development in the knocklyon to ballyboden area of south dublin, including firhouse road, knocklyon road (including gaelscoil chnoc liamhna), idrone avenue (including st. Colmcille's junior and senior national schools), dargle wood park, templeroan road, ballyboden way, boden park, ballyboden road and scholarstown road
- Landscaping, tree planting, nature based sustainable drainage system
- Traffic calming measures including reduced carriageway width and reduced corner radii and roundabout improvements
- School zone improvements
- High quality walking and cycling infrastructure, including segregated cycle lanes with kerb protection and new permeability links
- New shelters at bus stops and new bus lanes on ballyboden way
- Associated public lighting and other services. The proposal has undergone appropriate assessment screening under the habitats directive (92/43/eec) and screening for environmental impact assessment under the eia directive 2011/92/eu, as amended by directive 2014/52/eu. The authority has concluded that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and a determination has been made that an environmental impact assessment report (eiar) is not required.
