The re-development incorporates:(a) demolition of the existing sales and service buildings and the canopy: decommissioning and removal of 3 no. Underground petrol storage tanks (58,500 litres);removal of 2 no. Over-ground diesel storage tanks (63,000 litres); removal of jetwash/car-wash facilities; removal of company signs and insignia and removal of trees at rear and side of forecourt. (b) construction of a new filling station incorporating a convienience store building of 203sqm with retail sales area of 100sqm and a atm facility of 7sq: a new 5.4m high canopy illuminated: 4 no. 40,000 litre underground petrol and diesel storage tanks: a conveyor car-wash facility including a glazed housing unit of 86sqm and a plant room of 19sqm: a 6m high company sign illuminated: new corporate signs and insignia and any ancillary contingent works. (c) construction of a single storey, free standing 'drive-thru' restaurant with facility for the sale of hot food for consumption off the premises, ancillary signage and a pedestrian access from the road. (d) site works incorporating a new 1.5m wide footpath at the front of the site: relocation of the bus stop, a new 600mm high front boundary wall: reduction in width and relocation of existing access and egress points into the site: 29 no. Car parking spaces: a comprehensive landscaping scheme and miscellaneous contingent works.
