The development will consist of the construction of an access road connecting an existing roundabout on the east-west distributor road permitted under reg. Ref. Sd02a/0426 (an bord pleanala ref. Pl. 06s. 202652) and reg. Ref. Sd03a/0972 (an bord pleanala ref. Pl06s. 206744) to lands to the south which are the subject of a planning application reg. Ref. Sd05a/0818 by mountbrook homes limited. The access road will comprise of a 7.3 metre wide two-direction carriageway with a 1.8 metre wide grass verge and 1.5 metre wide footpath on both sides of the carriageway.
