On top of the footprint of existing single storey retail units including open sesame newsagent, freshways deli, superduper supermarket and shamooze hair salon to create a two storey building with pitched roof 9.7m in height. The new floor will be accessed via a two storey stairwell and lift / entrance lobby (37sq. M. ) at ground floor including staff areas/wc and 172sq. M. Entrance lobby at first floor. The stairwell/lobby areas replace the existing shamooze hair salon 28sq. M. And part (34sq. M. ) of superduper supermarket. A public house (114sq. M. ) and restaurant (88sq. M. ), common toilets and lobbies (61sq. M. ) are proposed for at first floor level with glazed atrium (47sq. M. ). A solar panel is proposed to the front of the roof. A single storey extension (47sq.
