(1) an extension to an existing approved warehouse, floor area 238sq. M. , to provide for storage of containers of pure chlorine and incorporating abatement plant with stack terminating 11m above ground level. In the event of a leak, an extract fan will draw air from the warehouse through the abatement system which consists of a bed of absorbent material, which will absorb any chlorine in the air. The european communities (control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances) regulations 2006 (s. I. No. 74 of 2006) will apply to the facility, which will become a lower tier establishment; (2) retention of change of use from staff changing area to board room, within approved existing warehouse.
