• Provide improved cycling facilities along a 3km corridor between tallaght and templeogue
• Provision of 4km of new cycle route on old blessington road, main street tallaght, old tallaght road and templeogue road between itt tallaght and the junction of old bridge road/cypress grove road
• Construction of new off-road cycle tracks on old tallaght road and templeogue road
• Pedestrian and cyclist safety improvement works at a number of junctions on the route
• Introduction of 30km/h speed limit on old blessington road and main road tallaght between belgard road junction to greenhills road junction
• Improvements to existing bus stops along the route
• Provision of bicycle parking at locations along the route
