Construction of a pre-fabricated, 2 storey building with a single storey link to existing buildings to comprise on the ground floor: a science room and prep room, 3 classrooms, communal corridor, toilets, passenger lift, link corridor and accommodation stairs, and on the first floor: 5 classrooms, toilets, communal corridor, passenger lift, accommodation staircase and external fire escape stairs with connections to the existing foul water drainage system and the provision of an on-site surface water disposal system, together with all other ancillary and associated site works. The increased and shared use of the existing gate controlled set down/pick-up area off castle road/esker meadow view, adjacent to gaelscoil phadraig, for the benefit of the 3 schools and the creation of a new section of pedestrian/cycle pathway connecing the existing footpath/cycle lane from griffeen road on the south boundary through the colaiste cois life site to the existing footpath at the west site boundary with esker educate together national school.
