The 1,462sq. M building is proposed to be located to the rear of the hospital on a site bordered by the staff restaurant, the education building and cookstown way. The new building is to be placed beside the existing cardiac research in youth (c. R. Y. ) building and a physical link will be provided from the new accommodation back into the hospital street.
