Permission for the permanent retention of works undertaken on no 9 morrisons road, waterford city in the late 1980’s which consisted of the demolition of existing sheds and construction of a rear extension. This extension consists of a kitchen, shower room and a hallway. The original house is mid-terrace house built around 1901. The original house consists of a single open plan living room on the ground floor with 2 bedrooms on the upper floor plus the extension for which this application refers. The extension, built sometime in the late 1980's by a previous owner of the property is single storey with a flat roof consists of a small hallway, shower room and kitchen with access to a small rear yard. The building ridge height is 7.45m in height and its floor area is approx 30m2. The extension has a ridge height of 2.60m with a floor area of 12.5m2. The total floor area of the property is 32.5m2 with area yard measuring 17m2. The house in not a protected structure and is not included in the national inventory architectural heritage.
