Amendments to the redevelopment of the walsh park gaa grounds, from that permitted by waterford city and county council planning reference 18/448 (abp reference 302598-18) as extended by waterford city and county council planning reference 24/1, and all ancillary site development works. The proposed amendments include. (a) the construction of a revised uncovered western terrace with associated undercroft spectator facilities. The proposed development also includes a revised western boundary treatment from keane’s road to include revised turnstile locations, revised vehicular access location and public realm upgrades. (b) modifications to the uncovered northern stand to allow for an existing clubhouse building to remain to the west of the stand and the provision of new toilet facilities to the east of the stand. (c) the construction of a revised two/three storey pavilion building to the east of the site to accommodate revised team/referee changing and welfare facilities at ground floor level and administrative/multi-purpose areas at first floor level. (d) the reconfiguration of the southeastern area of the site to provide for a revised site entrance arrangement, parking areas, relocated turnstiles, concession stand, additional toilet facilities, bicycle parking and bin stores. (e) modifications to the existing southern stand to accommodate a new disability access point to the stadium from slievekeale road. (f) the installation of roof mounted pv panels on roof of the southern stand. (g) the provision of 2 no. Electronic scoreboard structures. (h) the relocation of concession stands and toilet facilities in western areas of the site and all other ancillary site development works which include revised elevational and boundary treatments.
