Development description

The development will consist of permission for infilling of lands with material consisting of clean, uncontaminated soil and stone only. The infilling is to restore a historic sand and gravel pit. Permission is also sought for the placement of one portable toilet and one portacabin, on a temporary basis which will serve as an office for the duration of the infilling process. A temporary flooded wheel wash will also be installed onsite for the duration of infilling activities. An article 6(3) of the habitats directive screening for appropriate assessment report has been prepared in respect of the proposed development. Subsequent to planning a waste facility permit will be sought from westmeath county council for the duration of the infilling process and associated activities.
